Coal Grove Football 2016

School Board voted to not renew Brian Kidd last night, so Coal Grove is back to where it all started last year. The only ones who are truly suffering here are the kids, and from what I hear, they are outraged. This is getting out of control.

Board meeting tomorrow, so hopefully we will find out then. I think everyone knows why the board did this... There will be several kids speaking on behalf of Kidd. Could be interesting.

There was a swing in the BOE and now Jay Lucas wants to come back.

I kind of wanted to refrain from saying much, but I'll say this much. I hope and pray the Board listens to the kids in this. 85% of the athletes want him back. Coach Kidd went 5-5 (couldve easily went 7-3), with little time to prepare (he was hired June 2nd of last year), not to mention the return of only 3 starters. A lot of people would like an explanation on why they are putting the kids through this again
