Are they allowed to do that? I know starting June 1st they can have 10 days of coaching contact

I was at the track meet; it was a group of younger kids throwing the ball; nothing more.

Ahh I figured it must be something that wasn't organized with coaches.

If there wasn't no coaches up there directing it, nothing they can do. Still good I think that some kids still throw a ball around, it's better for them than setting around all day in front of a TV playing X-Box.

I was 30 yards away; it was about 10 kids throwing the ball around; that was it. There were no coaches around at all.

Ross historically hasn't been very good. They have bounced around several leagues for several decades trying to find a league they can win in instead of getting pounded. Flex back and forth between a D-II and D-III. Last year they were 5-5. But one needs to look at who they beat and who and how they beat them. Beat 0-10 Oxford Talawanda in OT, 30-24. Beat New Leb. Dixie (1-9), 55-20. Little Miami (2-8), Casey Co., Ky (4-6) 15-8 and West. Brown, 48-46. Lost to "powerhouse" Goshen, 28-20, Northwest 46-6, Edgewood 49-6, Mt. Healthy 38-17 and Harrison 56-14. Suburb of Hamilton where best athletes are in Hamilton Senior or parochial Badin. They played a game with local Niles McKinley , who wasn't very good and was unimpressive. Logan should beat these guys.

A fella told me he got a hold of some Ross games and they looked really slow on film.

Athens, Jackson, DJ, and Desales should beat Logan.

NY, Meigs, Cambridge, Teays valley are winnable

Warren and Hamilton are bad

Athens will need to find a defense or at least find some physicality to win against Logan even if Logan is projected to be "down" next year.

DeSales should reload and should be the favorite.

Some changes with personnel in Jackson, not sure how that will play out but Logan may not be as much of an underdog as some may think.

DJ I agree will be the favorite. Teays Valley has always given Logan a good game early in the season and I think TV will have the edge this year.

Meigs will not be an easy out, should be the late summer pick to win the TVC...question is will it translate to the field this year.

7-3 with some potential to garner some big points if they knock off 1-2 of the teams listed above (Athens-Jackson-DeSales-DJ-TV).

I agree on most of this Dandy Don. But I really agree on your Athens prediction. :D Logan will do well this year and maybe better than expected. They are still climbing out of a troubled slump but coming a long nicely.
