He's gone at the end of the year anyways. But, there's not much he can do with the hand he's been dealt. That bullpen is atrocious and a rash of injuries sure isn't helping either. They'll trade Bruce and Phillips in a couple months. A couple more years of losing is ahead, just stay the course.

Even as a Cubs fan, I would like to see the Reds get better prospects in these trades rather than just a bunch of players.

Do they keep Price until the end of the season though? I know he has been dealt a terrible hand with the players he has, the bullpen just set the MLB record last night for most consecutive games giving up at least one earned run (21 straight games)!

Phillips will definitely be gone. If Bruce keeps playing well, they might want too much for him.

I know here in a few years they'll be playing winning baseball again, but the last round of winning didn't last too long.

They have a 6-2 lead in the 6th right now, but I have such little faith in the bullpen that I'm not sure we will win unfortunately.

Luckily the offense was on point tonight, since Hoover came in and gave up 2 in the 9th. If they can get him going eventually, they will have a much better season.

Beat the Brewers again tonight. Broke the streak of the bullpen giving up a run in 23 straight games. I like Cingrani in the 9th if he is consistent. Go for the sweep tomorrow.
