Region 15 got blown open when FCA lost in district semi-finals.

The regional final game on 11/7 is going to be an environment for sure. All four schools at the regional competition for region 15 have proud, well-traveling fanbases.

It will be a great final! I think everyone was shocked when FCA got beat in their first match of the tourny. #1 overall seed comes out and loses first round? Wow!

Not to be a pedant, but I believe it was past sectionals... "regardless". FCA wasn't necessarily a clear cut #1 seed and miles ahead of the rest of the top four, as the other three had pretty impressive resumes too in some varying extents. But yes, I wouldn't have expected FCA to lose as soon as they did. In theory, they would've had as clear a path as anyone in Region 15 to make it to the Nutter Center.

Shekinah is always a very, very tough draw in many sports. Newark Catholic - who went on to win D4 state title in spring of 2015 - had to beat them in the bottom of the seventh in first round play for baseball. Very small school as I'm sure you know, and its very tough to gauge how good they are.

Exactly, I don't often hear much about Shekinah until it comes to tourny time. It seems like they are always the "pest" of the central district in most sports for the division.
