That '06 team was a good team, but I wouldn't say they were a top team to come through Danville, and they still played for a regional title and won by a comfortable margin agains SG. This team is better by a good margin.

And Danville is much better than what you think. They're #1 in the STATE for a reason.

Woah woah woah!!! Danville is good and they are playing very well right now but let's not give them the state champion title yet!! Did yall forget that minster is in D7 and that their only losses are to Marion Local and Coldwater? They have 8 wins in the MAC conference!!

I watched the highlights of this game last night on Grid Iron Glory. Danville does not look like a D VII team with their size and speed, and that QB can chuck the rock. Minster may be the only roadblock to the title for Danville. And LCF said it well above, Danville is a machine. Sure looked like it last night from what I saw.

Very proud of the young men from South Gallia. We ran into a very, very good football team last night. The young men had a very good season in working through adversity midway through the season to make the playoffs. SG just ran into a much better team last night.

Good luck to Danville as they move through the playoffs and if there is a better team in D-VII I want to seen them!

I will say this, Danville is loaded this year with their great SR class (18 of them). What really helps them is there practices. They have some serious talent in their underclassmen that would start for many teams they have played. Look at these scores when Danville pulls their starters they still keep scoring and posting a shutout, in some of their games their JV played more than the varsity. Danville's JV team only allowed one score the whole time, and had a running clock in all of their games but maybe one. Watch out for the QB's little brother who's a Sophomore, he'd start for every team Danville has faced this year.
