Re: JJhuddle message board shut down August 1st
I can't say I am saddened to see it go. That site began with good intentions. Much like this one. But, It soon it took itself too serious. Much like this one. Of late, some of our mods have settled down on their megalomaniac power trip but I have to wonder how long it will be before they go back to their old ways. I have never heard of yappi before. Could it be a contender for best message board?

yappi is good. Not full of users posting gibberish nonsense. No need to really moderate yappi, majority of posters are at least somewhat mature.

Re: JJhuddle message board shut down August 1st
I remember when myself and several other SEOPS posters promoted SEOPS in its early days on the Huddle and we all got banned. I started using this website and never went back. Good times.
Re: JJhuddle message board shut down August 1st
Yappi went through a bunch of poster making trouble and Mod had to delete more post in a couple week than they did in the year even had some being kick off.
Search on there and you will find it.

Re: JJhuddle message board shut down August 1st
Not a lot of different posters on Huddle it seemed in last couple years and pretty much all central Ohio (as you would expect), but there was not much traffic on the threads.
Yappi is from what I can tell mostly SW and NE Ohio with respect to the football forum, and they seem to have a lot of contributors to the topics or threads and for the most part they seem knowledgeable and informed, although lol the Hoban, Massilion threads can get interesting pretty quick.
There are so many social media options these days and ways to communicate with other fans, it will be interesting to see what happens to other boards like Huddle.
