Ironton had 47 kids out today with 3 kids supposed to be at practice on Monday. This is 9-12, but 50 kids is the largest turnout in years for the Tigers. This team looks a lot like some of the teams of old with the amount of speed on this team. The defense should be fun to watch, while the offense will have a number of speedy backs, along with its share of bruisers too. It should be a fun year. This group has a good attitude and look to put a bunch of W's on the board. Wheelersburg is always a great team, especially when playing them away. Game one will tell us all where they stand.

If everyone could please say a prayer for one of the RH freshmen, he was in an ATV accident and has broken his hip and sacrum....he's going to be alright but sitting out football for a while is going to hard on him...he's a great kid!!

I will do that very thing right now snoop. and pray he has a full and complete recovery in god's holy name.

Is coach Triplett out at RH I heard they hired him?

As far as I know he is not on staff this season...but I have not been to any practices or 7on7's yet to truly confirm one way or the other...

Thanks very much!! Greatly appreciated!! He has been released from the hospital to go home & does not require surgery...but he still has some serious downtime to deal with...
