Anyone know if Valley's coach will be back? I heard it might be a one shot deal for him to be superintendent of the district and basketball coach.

Former assistant AJ Phillips has taken over for Rolfe at Valley.

Athens is open. Certainly a late time to open up.

The administration at Athens is a joke.

I won't agree or disagree, but I believe that this should have been done a month or 2 ago if it was to be done.

Coach Skinner did an outstanding job with his teams on the court.

I'm not a hater but it seems the schools and many administrations have went the way of society. Minimum accountability and often clueless when it comes to sports and the combinations needed to have a motivated and successful program. Many of the coaches like the sports they coach, but are they good at coaching? Are they leaders, mentors or someone to look up to? Many administrators just look for those to fill the positions. When administrators are questioned about failing athletic programs, they use the phrase "school isn't about sports, lets concentrate on education". Really? Over half of the schools education attemps are failing and parents and students suffer a high school career of misery. Bad AD's and coaches kill programs for years. Respectfully this comment has nothing to do with the situation mentioned by danicalifonia above I know nothing of the coach or school.

Word in Huntington Township is that Adena is trying to pull our girls coach into leading the Warriors. I guess they tried the first time the job was open and are back at it again. Guess he has ties to people in Adena's administration or something. This is really late to still be without a basketball coach.

Kyle Bradley is the latest Adena coach to be hired.

He was the JV coach at Upper Sandusky the last couple of years with great success. Their varsity program recently had a resurgence for the first time since the Diebler's. Should be a good hire.

They must of been very thorough during the interview process, every stone turned. Good Luck to the Warriors.

Not ideal timing. I guess it could have happened later.
