I hope not. I hate that drive. I hate that stadium. Hopefully it will be somewhere else.bleed_blue wrote:If I were to bet I'd say nelsonvilleMad-Dogg wrote:Any word on possible locations for next week

Kinda called this.

Re: Playoffs #8 Ironton @ #1 Wheelersburg
Ironton didn't have the athletes tonight. It wasn't coaching or play calling. Wheelersburg's Jimmies are much better than your Joes.

Wheelersburg and Ridgwood played in the 2nd round I think back in 2010. Where did they play then?

I didn't think lancaster can hold neutral site games since they don't have turfpiratepride86 wrote:maybe lancaster logan or c bus

Great job tonight Pirates! Very impressive on both sides of the ball.
Good luck next week against Ridgewood. Burg has played them I think twice and both were at home with Burg winning both. Hoping the game is in Chillicothe or at least Columbus and not Nelsonville. Hate that drive as well.

I think chillicothe would be the best location for this game. Just my opinion

Looks like the Tigers didn't get any better from the first game, figures.

Someone had asked earlier in this thread how much Kyle Davis had improved. I think he more than answered that question in tonight's game. He throws a very nice ball with great accuracy. Should have thrown close to 300 yards tonight but still looked impressive throwing for 227.
That is the great thing about this Pirate's team. If they run up against a team that can shut down the run they can go with the pass and vice versa. This Burg team is going to be hard to stop IMO.

friend you don't owe me an apology. as far as I'm concerned it's already mended. I'm waiting till the mrs. gets up and may have to run over to the hospital.i have had several dormant stones for over a year. and I overdid it trying to get my yard finished before winter starts. so it's hard telling if it's back spasm's or a kidney stone. but I had to break out my handy dandy walker last night to even stand up.i'm very proud of ironton, and I'm very proud of wheelersburg. I truly hope they can keep going. I honestly thought this was going to be a competitive game. wheelersburg is just on point man.we are apparently just too stuck in the past. I'm just realizing that since late last year. as far as the t formation and running against that continually I've known for years. you gotta coach like you're playing a video game, and keep everybody guessing.after 14 surgeries I have a couple other mobility devices around here somewhere. tell ole cg I have another walker in the building but it ain't gotta padded seat. but he can come borrow it anytime.and you're welcome to chat with me anytime OBVIOUSLY.Cpt. He done went and sat on a heater and burned his brains!! I wish you a speedy recovery bait and hope to we can do this next year obviously!!!

I knew you guys were a beast again when you torched a fine Jackson team. I have had my blinders on too long. we have real problems at ironton in our football program.
