What's everyone's thoughts on this game? Think Caldwell needs this one with a few tougher games the next few weeks. With a Caldwell loss, could leave them facing 0-3 on their way to Woodsfield. I do think Caldwell will have a decent run game with the Iveys and Allen and won't be a One Man Band like last year, but they could struggle passing and on defense. I originally thought they would struggle the most on offense but from what I have heard, their defense needs a lot of work. I still like Caldwell in this one close 33-28

This would be a nice venue to start my season out. Torn on whether to go to this game or FF vs. Belpre. Only another 20 minutes to Marietta, so I may very well take this one in. Looking forward to it!

Scheduling mistake by Caldwell with the Noble County Fairboard not allowing them to play the week prior to the fair on the field. Huge mistake by Fairboard as I heard Caldwell will not play during the fair against Buckeye Trail. Fairgrounds is garbage anyway. Just good if it rains for the crowd. Hope they move all their games.

Great to see Liberty Union look like they are back from last season.

Local paper actually had Caldwell winning by the above score. I checked this site to get the score as I know it would be of interest. Caldwell has had a very good run the past several years, unfortunately I see that at a screeching halt. I saw the jr hi Caldwell teams last season ans they were probably the worse I have ever seen.

Caldwell had 27 yards and 59 in penalties for a net of (-32). LU had 593 and 59 in penalties for a net of 534.
