We are running at the Western Invite @ Long's Retreat

There used to be a lot more teams at Long's......I imagine many of the Scioto and Lawerence Co schools are going to yours.

I'll see her at Districts

ahhh xc its soooo fun...humps didnt run yesterday...she was sick...and i think she gave sumthin to me!!!! 4tk your daughter made me sick...or maybe it was because it was so cold and we still had to run :evil:

Hi 92,
Sorry I don't get online much anymore.
But I did see where you and sky showed some precipitation-
I feel Jared was a fine athlete for Jackson and IMHO, you can never say he did not do all that he could for the teams he played on, let's just leave it at that. I don't like to read all this negative stuff about him..........
must be the MOM in me.

Back to the Oaks,
Jared told Jess this should be the only time she runs CC. He said it will make her slower in sprints....lol He should know, his g-friend is a CC/track/steeple runner for Kent.
Oh well, she started and she can not quit.
She brings up the tail end, but never stops...lol She is battling some respiratory problems right now though.

I am ready for basketball..........CC is not fun to watch..haha

I am not sure, I believe a couple of their better girls were seniors but that they had a few good young girls. It is at Coal Grove so any time you have to take a trip down 93 you never know what is going to happen.

MYTH for my money

My sprinters in track have only benefitted from it. It may slow down the very upper echelon minimally..but no one I know.

what happened to the freshmen for the lady oaks? they went from having 9 players last year to 5????????

I guess some players just decide it is not for them. Think of all the things that get in the way these days that didn't get in the way 10 years ago.

In the end it cames down to who wants to make the committment to being a Lady Oak.

I do wish all of them would come out for the team though. Was there 9 of them? I can only recall 8. One moved, and one isn't playing and the other hasn't decided yet.

This happens in every program. There are a lot of other things for kids to do these days. It is nice for them to have options, but it is sad to see some of the not play after putting all the years and effort into the game.
