Area Gas Prices on the rise again..............

8/13/07 oil closed at 71.62 up 0.15 a barrel and gasoline was 1.9375 down 0.0173 a gallon. I saw on one of the news shows where they said gas was down 10 cents a gallon retail but that it would soon go back up. Those networks sure try and take care of big oil. Would it be because of those big advertising dollars?

8/14/07 Oil closed higher yesterday at 72.38 up 0.76 a barrel and gasoline was 1.9738 up 0.0363 a gallon. Starting to trend in the wrong direction again.

You may have a point FIDO. Oil eased up again yesterday. 8/15/07 oil closed at 73.33 up 0.95 a barrel and gasoline was 2.0269 up 0.0444 a gallon. Retail in Ashland last night at Speedwaywas 2.60 and in downtown Ironton at Rich Oil it was 2.69

8/16/07 Wholesale oil closed at 71.00 down 2.33 a barrel and gasoline was 1.9783 down 0.0305 a gallon. Retail in Ironton and Ashland Ky jumped to 2.79 yesterday. What is going on....? John Clark please explain this one.

8/17/07 Oil closed at 71.98 up 0.98 a barrel and gasoline was 2.0388 up 0.0605 a gallon. John Clark you better kick retail up to 2.99. :lol:

Going and coming from Columbus yesterday 2.64 was the lowest price I saw. I believe that was in Waverly. 2.75 in Columbus.

8/20/07 Oil closed yesterday at 71.12 down 0.86 a barrel and gasoline was 1.9365 down 0.1023 a gallon, the biggest one day drop I've seen in quite awhile. Retail gas is up to 2.99 all over the place, wonder what the reason is? Oh I know, Labor Day.

8/21/07 Oil closed at 69.47 down 1.65 a barrel. First time below 70 dollars in a long time and Gasoline was 1.8637 down 0.0728 a gallon, down from 1.90 for the first time in quite awhile. I can tell the hurricane season is really hurting the price of oil LOL but you are right orange-n-brown 365, that is the excuse they are using. Looks like the price of oil and gas went South with Dean. ;-)

Retail in Ironton is also 2.95

8/23/07 Oil closed yesterday at 69.47 and gasoline was 1.9232 up 0.0346 a gallon. Retail in Ashland Ky. yesterday was 2.71 and 2,89 in Ironton.

$2.75 at Wal-Mart in Jackson- But with a gift card it is now 7 cents a gallon off instead of 3 cents. So I got it for 2.68

8/28/07 Wholesale oil closed at 71.73 down 0.24 a barrel and gasoline was 2.0154 down 0.0239 a gallon. These prices are just not cooperating with Labor Day. Paid 2.88 a gallon retail in Ironton last night.
