It sure hit the roof yesterday. Oil closed at 89.47 up 2.01 a barrel and wholesale gasoline closed at 2.1851 up 0.0385 a gallon. This is not looking too good for the Thanksgiving and Christmas Holidays.

I think the high octane was 1.25 win he took over. I could fill my little Aspire up for 8 or 9 dollars back then.

Yesterday on the news they said this has(the high price a barrel) had nothing to do with supply and demand.

Oil did a turn around yesterday and closed up at 96.32 + 0.86 a barrel and wholesale gasoline closed at 2.456 up 0.0184 a gallon. Looks like 4 bucks a gallon by Christmas and 100 dollars a barrel next week.

Ray.

Of course there is going to be a delay. They are really going to hurt us between now and Christmas.

It is kind of like summer where gas prices spike and hotels along the interstate can charge $150 for a standard room. They know that people will be traveling anyway. Thus they resort to highway robery. You could get the same hotel room in February for 75 bucks.

They know that around Thanksgiving and Christmas people are going to be traveling. Not just for the holidays themselves. More people will go see movies, go to ballgames, go Christmas shopping. go to resturants.

I dont totally buy the supply and demand thing.
