Area Gas Prices on the rise again..............

The price of oil went south yesterday as it closed at 91.17 down 3.45 a barrel and wholesale gasoline closed at 2.3167 down 0.0998 a gallon. Retail in Ironton dropped to 3.11 a gallon yesterday afternoon.

Yesterdays USA said the pumps haven't caught up with the Jump in oil yet and could go up 20 cents over the next two weeks

You may be right about gas prices although they dropped in Ashland Ky yesterday to 2.93 stayed at 3.11 in Ironton.

Oil closed higher again yesterday settling at 94.09 up 2.92 a barrel and wholesale gas was 2.3704 up 0.0537 a gallon.

We got another drop yesterday as oil closed at 93.43 down 0.66 a barrel and wholesale gasoline closed at 2.3362 down 0.0342 a gallon. Retail in Ironton dropped to 3.04 yesterday and in Ashland Ky it was 2.93.

The week closed with oil raising to 95.10 up 1.67 a barrel and wholesale gasoline 2.3754 up 0.0391 a gallon. Retail gas was 3.04 in Ironton and 2.93 in Ashland Ky.

Gas dropped another three cents in Ashland yesterday $2.90.

It sure hasn't dropped any here in Scioto County (Ohio) It was $3.19-$3.16 last evening and been that about all week. Twenty-six cents difference, now that's robbery with out a gun. Sometimes I wonder why we buy anything here in Scioto County? Portsmouth is dead and the rest of the county is soon to join it.

The price of oil closed yesterday at 95.10 up 1.67 a barrel and wholesale gasoline was 2.3816 up 0.0062 a gallon. Retail gasoline in Ironton is now 3.01 and Ashland Ky is at 2.90.

Wholesale gas took a large jump yesterday closing at 2.4515 up +0.0699 a gallon. Will we see a big jump at the pumps today? Happy Thanksgiving.

Oil closed at 97.29 down 0.74 a barrel after hovering around 99 dollars a barrel and wholesale gasoline was 2.4371 down 0.0144 a gallon. I did notice that retail gas in Ashland Ky. was 2.86 last night down 6 cents from the night before.

Oil closed at 98.18 up 1.57 a barrel yesterday and wholesale gas closed at 2.467 up 0.0299 a gallon. Retail gas dropped to 2.97 in downtown Ironton and remained at 2.86 in Ashland Ky.

my daughter saw it in Parkersburg on Turkey day for $2.99

yesterday one side of Athens was 3.09 Richland Ave. and the other side where the mall is was 3.14 State Street it cost that much to truck it a few streets over :shock:

its 3.09 here in Nelsonville
