Area Gas Prices on the rise again..............

Oil was on the decline yesterday as it closed at 97.70 down 0.48 a barrel and wholesale gasoline dropped to 2.4414 down 0.0256 a gallon. Retail in Ironton rose to 3.15 a gallon yesterday. Merry Christmas!

Take a look at this one boys and girls. OPEC says it will increase oil production and this is what happens. Oil closed at 94.42 down 3.28 a barrel and wholesale gasoline closed at 2.373 down 0.0684 a gallon. Retail gas dropped in Ironton yesterday 16 cents to 2.99. Whew!

Another bad day for oil again yesterday. Closed at 90.62 down 3.80 a barrel and wholesale gas hit another snag as it closed at 2.2757 down 0.0973 a gallon. Retail in Ironton is still 2.99 and in Ashland Ky its 2.93.

Pipeline explosion in Minnesota caused a small spike yesterday as oil closed at 91.01 up 0.39 a barrel but wholesale gas still came down to 2.2648 a drop of 0.0109 a gallon.

Whoops another nose dive. Oil closed below 90 dollars a barrel, 88.71 down 2.30 a barrel wholesale gasoline closed at 2.2591 down 0.0057 a gallon.

Oil did jump up yesterday but still stayed below the 90 dollar mark. Oil closed at 89.31 up 0.60 a barrrel.

2.99 still did get mid grade for 2.99 @ BP for their tuesday special :-D

Oil dropped back again yesterday and closed at 88.32 down 0.99 a barrel and wholesale gas stayed almost flat as it eeked up to 2.2517 an increase of 0.0016 a gallon. Retail in Ironton still 2.99

Oil exploded yesterday. Went above the 90 dollars a barrel again. Closed at 90.23 up 2.74 a barrel and wholesale gasoline closed at 2.3014 up 0.0843 a gallon. Retail in Ironton still 2.99 and in Ashland Ky at 2.87.

Oil closed the week at 88.28 down 1.95 a barrel and wholesale gasoline was 2.269 down 0.0323 a gallon.

Went out to Cannonsburg Ky to the WalMart yesterday and gas on Rt 60 was 2.80 a gallon. It also dropped a penny in Ironton to 2.98

Look out Christmas travelers. Oil closed at 90.02 up 2.16 a barrel and wholesale gasoline was 2.2914 up 0.0413 a gallon.
