Minford New Coach ?

I have heard from a reliable..well as reliable as they get in Minford.
That the old coach is out and there will be a new one for year 2008.

Does anyone have any ideas ?
Or wishes ?

Does anyone know anyone that wants to be on the list ?

Ok ..OK...Besides the SW coach. We know he ain't coming.

I.ve been watching this and this is my take.

Minford's coach has had a rocky career at coaching softball with lossing seasons every year. I believe he knew the hammer was comming this year if he did not produce.

During the season he started the rumor the South Webster's coach wanted the job.

This was a scam to make it look like he was routed out by a nother coach and not fired because of his coaching abilities.

Just an observation.

Not sure of the minfords coaches name but the SW coach is Rick Stringer and im betting he is not going anywhere.those girls were really down for several years and after one season seam to be more competetive with a bright future.I think he was mostly freshman last year.

With addition, from what i hear he is waiting on the the junior high girls to make it to high school which is his daughter and a group he has had since T-ball..

I have to comment on this before it gets out of hand.

A year ago I was talking about how well SW was doing and
how well the New coach seemed to be doing.

I also congratulated them..

I made a smart remark at the end of the post that read
"Wish you were here"...as if talking to the SW coach.

Now, that started a whole bunch of wild rumors that were
not true...

SW coach was never interested in coming to Minford to coach.
Minford was not asking him....

Coach Warren was the previous softball coach. He stepped down and Mr. Bennett is taking over his position. Mr. Bennett is a teacher at Minford High School and from what i hear, has a lot of experience in softball and should be a good coach for the Falcons.
