Valley takes care of business and posts a shutout of an explosive Peake team.

Valley and Grandview Regional semi rematch!

They're good no doubt, but a lot of stock being put in that win over Bexley, which as Jackson showed is not that good.

It'll be a great game, but Valley has a great shot to win.

Valley was very sloppy in the first half with the turnover and penalties both taking scores off the board. I was very pleased to see the running game show back up after not being there the last five weeks. There are also injury concerns for Valley with #54 getting banged up this game and #24 missing the game.

Rolfe has a monster leg, that missed 36 yard FG attempt would have been long enough for 45 yards easy, and he barely missed it left

Penalties & turnovers s^*k. I know this, we all know this. They happen when we least expect them or want them to. Next week it could be your opponent. Ya just never know. Injuries hurt too, but with valleys success they should be able to plug a good sub in & maybe have a surprise new star. Even though IHS had a horrible outcome, young subs were discovered that had some solid 3rd down stops & sacks last night.
Ya gotta stay oppitimistic & let it all develop. I have no doubt valley will recover well & be just fine.
Good luck!

Valley was the better team tonight. The Valley QB is the best football player I've seen play this year.

Chesapeake lost its leading rusher on the first series and were never able to get their sync back. That's when the Valley Defense started to look a lot better, IMO. The Peake showed some flashes, but not quite enough after that.

This was the first game the Panthers actually didn't hold a lead in the 4th quarter all season, and I think it is fair to say that this Chesapeake team more than over-achieved this season.

Best of luck Valley. I hope you win it all and hang 50 on every team you face here on out.

The good news is...it's Basketball Season in the OVC!!!

#35 The fullback who had the 79 yarder against Ironton. Also played some LB and DL. He went to the bench right as Peake made it to about the Valley 40 on the first drive.

Just my opinion: It just threw the Chesapeake offense into a bit of a funk, which against a team like Valley, you have to be on all cylinders.

Nice win! Give Rolfe enough time and he will pick you apart. Grandview better have a d if they want to win.
