I thought Winfield backed out because they thought it was the Rio invite. I think they're coming to the Rio meet.

Was attempting to make a pass on the inside of a sharp turn over a culvert and there was some clumps of dirt there and she tripped and fell off over into the ditch and twisted her knee.

I think so. A little swelling, but she's going to try to run tonight. Gallia doesn't run again until 9/15 at Cedarville, so hopefully, everybody will be OK by then. Townsend and Stanley had good races yesterday. The times were a little slow due to heat (thermometer on the field read 105), and they said the course last year measured short, so they added about 60M in sharp turns out in the ballfield area. Can't wait until Cedarville....heard it was a flat fast course. Also looking forward to seeing Shawnee St run.

I've never been there. I assumed it was the same course. College races start at 10am and the girls varsity won't start until 2:45.
