Tiger4 wrote:well u have....
Piketon w/the 5 redshirt 8th graders plus isaac brabson & Ryan (sid) accardo.
Eastern(pike) w/the lands boy who is very dominant w/a dominant big guy in tavares pickett.
Waverly w/the addition of evory & white to go along w/ferguson,williams & bolin-hitchens.
Western(pike)probably the weakest of the teams but a good guard but a little under sized who makes up for it w/great quickness, then a good big man in brady lambert.
& thts just the 8th grade.

Very good poinst Tiger4. Saying that Western is the weakest team in the county means that the county has some good talent in the 8th grade this year, because I would consider us (Western) to be very good, and we are looking forward to having a great season. The boys are working hard and looking to do some good things this year.

try to remember the 6th grade tournament at the ymca the vinton co. team that got beat in the finals by peebles. he was the kid with red hair on that team the big one probably 5'7 or 5'8 at the time hes the one that when he blocked a shoot he woud yell and scream!! hes a real good player but very emotional. well he was back then but that was 2 years ago hes probably settled down some now that hes older.

nope its leagel hey it just means the rest of the countys kids in that grade better put down the playstations , wii's,psp's and pick up a basketball and start working instead of goffing off and thinking they can step on the floor and just compeat with those boys. A wise old cosch named carl wolfe told me once hey LIGHTLE when your setting around thinking of girls or games or what ever you kids do the guy your getting ready to play against is playing pand prepareing to beat you!

Tiger4 slow down you talking about parents us parents look at things threw different colored glasses its our job to do what we think is best for our own kids.i mean you said yourself that when the other kids getolder it evens out.if the other kids don't get the floor time they feel they should then there parents will make adjustments as well to benefit there kids.some times im not saying this is one of them but sometimes theres not enough balls, floor time,or headlines forthat much tallent on one team and the wheels fall off and they never reach there full potential as a team.and some times it just clicks and they mesh like clock work.

lightle 04 i understand people of different ages have different views.

It looks like the coach gave ole Hayden a call. That's the kind of stuff that destroys a team. I'm glad he's not on our TEAM.
