I certainly believe Shenandoah did look good, I am not arguing that at all. I also believe Shenandoah is much improved from last year, I believe the next 3-5 years Shenandoah will continue to only get better and better, but as of week one and I apologize to the kids and coaches working for Frontier they are certainly giving it their all, but as of right now most teams should look good against Frontier.

Re: Pioneer Valley Conf 2016
If no one would be opposed to it, I would be willing to run a PVC pickem from weeks 2-10. I will admit upfront there would be no prize, it would just be for fun. I would do just one point for each PVC game and I would have a bonus game worth only one point as well. I would try and keep the bonus game somewhat local and a big/important game at the same time. Some may agree/disagree at the game I choose. For example I would like to make my week 2 bonus game Meadowbrook and Barnesville. There would be the possibility of a tie (sorry about that.) Next time you post if you would participate just mention that you would and if I can get at least five to play I would run it. Anybody interested?Phoenix wrote:Any way we could get a pick em going?

Fort is far and away the best team in the league. I like trail as the second best, ridgewood is legit and trail gave them a fight. I will list Shenandoah third, Jesse does a nice job but let's not get carried away, the odds of Frontier beating anyone from the state of Ohio aren't great. They were awful last year and lost what they had. I'll list Monroe 4th and Caldwell 5th, I think Caldwell has more talent but the game is in woodsfield. Frontier will get beat by 35 plus by everyone in the league

Thanks Manziel! I just read the thread. I like your version better than my idea anyways. Mine was going to be kind of dull.J_Manziel2 wrote:I started a Pick'em thread. Should be a lot of similar picks this week

I think those first 5 scores will end up being close if not on the money. I personally disagree on Meadowbrook and Barnesville. I have Barnesville winning in a more highscoring affair, certainly is a toss up in my book though.

Fort Frye lead 26-0 early and 33-0 at half and cruised to a 40-8 victory.
