They will not run on the Trojans. They better try it another week lol

Those are very misleading. The burg struggled last night to establish any kind of a running game. The backs did break a couple in second half after burg went no huddle and started wearing fairland down.

Why will they not run o the Trojans? I watched Portsmouth and honestly, not that impressed. They have some decent playmakers, but nothing that stands out. Burg will run their share on the Trojans.. I guarantee it.

Have to agree bg6, saw the same game, thought west had the better team but made way more mistakes, didn't see any reason to thing Portsmouth was anything more than a good, young team. Burgs o-line isn't as good as we hoped, but it's what we have, don't forget that burg is also a young team, only a few seniors on the field, but way more athletes and speed than what u seen Portsmouth have. Portsmouth has beaten a valley team that we all now know has fallen off the map and a west team that seems determined to implode and give their games away. Again, not a knock on Portsmouth, I think if they can find a good replacement at QB in the next couple years they will have some great seasons to follow with the good season they will surely have this year. But that said I'm goin with a decent football game final score 34 to 14 Burg Obviously!

A bunch of idiotic responses IMO. It's early, Burg is dominating, as they should be. Of course they need to fix some things, its the second week!! also....just for the guys that don't get it...... burg coaching staff for the last few years have done what the defense gives them......meaning if you have 7 guys in the box, well then , they are throwing. If you have 6 , its 50/50... pass or run. I'm watching them call run plays now against teams with 7 in the box, I can only assume it's to make them better. They can throw against anyone. Burg is very good IMO.

Just for those that don't get it, teams are not loading up the box to stop the run, they don't have to.

Don't teams pretty much always have 6-7 man fronts? I think it's pretty rare to see less than 6 in the box. I would buy that argument against 8-9 man fronts but you should still be able to run the ball against 6-7 man fronts.

This is obviously some ironton turd that obviously has nothing good to say about ironton.. So he gets his rocks off on trying to get a rise out of burg fans. Or he is a Trojan fan that is in denial about this team. Yes, Portsmouth is improved but they are not by any stretch of the imagination going to win this game. Parker is a decent player, but honestly doesn't move that well yet. He is young and hasn't developed that vision yet. Purdy is hands down their best player/playmaker, but he alone can't beat burg. This game will be closer than burgs last two games but will never be in doubt.

Wow! Almost 1000 yards of offense in two games and this is what I read.
