Fort Frye is one of top teams on this site 14 Reg Season wins in a row. Marietta barely beats Morgan you have them 3. Green 11 spots better then Fort. You do know that the Cadets varsity has pretty much only had to play 4 quarters this year. Was winning 26-0 in 2nd vs Newcomerstown on 7 plays of offense.

this poll is not my opinion. including scrimmages this year i have scene about 20 of these teams play. Wheelersburg is by far the best team i have scene play. i thought jackson had a lot of athletes. i liked what i saw at Chesapeake. And i thought meigs was going to be pretty good after friday night maybe i was wrong. I was reading on line about a high school football power poll from the 70's and 80's that was comparing schools of different sizes for a mythical metropolitan area champion. sometimes it even crowned a class A school. so i thought about with all the small schools in our area and the different size schools. it would be fun to try. so i researched the formula and set it up in a spread sheet... because they only had 3 divisions i had to make a few changes. Last week i set up spread sheets and punched in last seasons ending numbers the poll seemed interesting. i am still not sure i have the size school thing right. we will see how it goes as season goes further.

i have eliminated all the D1 and D2 teams starting next week because me dividing all 7 divisions up into 3 divisions put a ton of schools in this area in bottom division.... so i think that will help in separating teams. i mean this early in season there is a team like wheelersburg. there opponents are 8-12 on year. in there opponents were 9-11they would be like 8 places hire. so i think it will be fine... but we will see.. it is all fun to me.
