Good Luck to Green. I love to see small schools put on such a GREAT show. You expect it from the larger schools but when a small school does it.........FANTASTIC!!! :-D :-D :-D

Thanks buckfan84... The trip and participation will be very rewarding for them.. I also like to see the smaller bands do well.. I can't make it due to my wife's recent brain surgery, but we are excited for them........and I do have a granddaughter in the band. :-D

I do know they did not make it to the finals, but parents that were there said it was their best performance of the year.................... and............. a wonderful experience for them.

Wow. Performing in the RCA dome at Nationals really was one of the most amazing experiences of my life. Also it was our very best performance of our show...we watched the videos and we were very excited at how well we had done even before awards. As Focused said Green's band did not make it to Finals or Semi-Finals(Top 12 and Top 33)
We got a 3..nothing really to be disappointed over. It was our best performance and just the whole experience was amazing. There were colorguards with 62 members!! That's Green's whole 51 member band plus 11 more!!! I was shocked at the size of some of these bands and I loved watching finals with the 12 best bands in America.

I have a few questions too. I'm new to SEOPS but I was wondering if I would be allowed to post pictures from Green's performance on here?

Focused: Did you record the part about Green's band on WSAZ?

How did your band get invited to Nationals to begin with?? Was it based on this year's band or last school year? I never knew there were nationals for band so it must have been a great honor. how many bands were there total? Thanks!

I have seen many pics on here before so I don't see why not. Congrats on the experience of a lifetime. I am sure some of those HS bands would rival any DCI Corps. Were there any other bands from Ohio?

they go to nationals if they get a 1 at their state finals i believe. Cuz Nelsonville York went to state this year, and got a 2 i believe.

Yes there were several other bands from Ohio. I can't really remember all of them but there were quite a few. The bands that made finals were absolutely amazing, it was definately like watching DCI bands.
