Playoffs: D5 #6 Ridgewood (9-1) @ #3 Wheelersburg (7-3)

I dont care about skeds anymore, week 11 is upon us and Ridgewood will be ready to play ball. If our boys dont run the routes like they should and the oline doesnt protect spradlin, this game could be a Minford/Burg thread all over again. The other thing I will say is that if Burg continues to turn the ball over on fumbling, we will be in trouble. This is the playoffs and I dont care about how we played vs Waverly or West, Keep turning it over and we will get beat. Also, the Centerburg game is on my mind and we have to correct how we go into game ONE(1) of the playoffs! NO penalties, especially the special teams, no fumbles (dont expect that this late in the season but we are prone to it), NO attitudes that we will walk all over them!! We can win this game. The team needs to focus and forget about the year so far. Totally different teams, different areas on how they play the game. Everything is different. Listen to the coaches, play the game your taught, and dont ever, EVER, give them a BREAK!! Defense wins Championships and this one for Burg is that good. Offense needs to back them up and get some points on the board!! Good luck to the Burgites and LEAVE IT ON THE FIELD!!

If was the Burg my only concern would be their offensive and defensive line. If they are big it could cause them some problems but I still like the Burg.

Anyone have season O and D stats for Ridgewood? I know they have scored around 300 points and gave up just over 100.

106 points on defense (10.6 PPG)

i found the same link. your post came through right after mine did.. how far of a drive is it to burg from ridgewood?

The default directions going through Athens shows 157 miles, but going to 270 in Columbus and then heading south is 177 miles which I think would be the preferred way to go.
