D-5, if you follow Valley football closely, which i dont suspect you do, the big thing last year against St.C was that Ferry was "stealing" plays from the st.c coaches at purple rider stadium. St.C fans will never live down this nightmare of an excuse for a bad loss. As for calling formations and plays, i know for a fact the Devils players and coaches take all of monday(and tuesday when they have sat. games) for film study. Tendancies can be found very easily in most teams, the Devils included. If you watch the coaches closely on the sidelines, even at away games, it is very obvious they know what is going to happen most of the time. Film study is very key in todays game with the new scouting systems and filming of games that take place. The Burg was a very good team and by studying and knowing their plays/formations St.C had a great advantage. I commend the St.C coaches on a great job of coaching and the boys for putting in the extra time to study opponents.

I am a new poster, but I wanted to let everyone know if you do not already; the RH/ St.C game will be on 1230AM WIRO for anyone who cannot make the long haul to St. C for the game. I believe that you can also listen live on the internet by going to 800wvhu.com & clicking on the ironton tiger face, and pulling up the stream to the game. That is how it is normally done for Ironton games.
