wellstonrockets, Waverly totally played a great game. Walls was great to watch with his passing game. he would wait in the pocket untill we had 4 or 5 guys running up on him then pass it to the open guy right there in the middle standing all alone.
Waverly towered over our guys in a lot of positions. Keller was smart to abandon our passing game and to go to the run. the last TD waverly got they passed to the end zone and our guy was there and jumped to intercept but he was just to short and couldn't get high enough.
they made us work for that win that is for sure.

Westfall had 658 yards of total offense. It was old fashion football. Take it right at you and show no mercy. A TEAM effort by the Mustangs. Gibson had a pair of big interceptions and who can forget about Hardin who should be called "The Animal" after that game.
Congrats on the win Westfall and also congrats to Waverly on a good season.
BTW...Teays Valley did an excellent job hosting the game and plenty of seats were available on the Waverly side in the fourth quarter.

Wow.
Seth Hardin was a man possessed tonight. Did he ever come off the field?
Waverly had a fine team and Walls was very good. The biggest play of the game, IMO, was the 4th down at the Westfall 40, when Westfall held. 3 plays later, it was 27-14. It was late in the half and Waverly was going to get it back to start the 2nd half, so just pin Westfall deep, but if it worked, I wouldn't question it at all.

For Their Support in the stands tonight, I am sure I missed some one but the support was great.
There was plenty of parking, they opened 3 gates for entrance, food was great, the list was endless.

Champions aren't made in the gyms. Champions are made from something they have deep inside them -- a desire, a dream, a vision.

I can't believe that at least 17 players had games like Seth had tonight. It seriously seemed like he was busting out runs of 15+ constantly...and then he was able to move the chains when they were milking the clock.
Outstanding job by that offensive line, the tight ends, and the fullbacks as well.
It should probably be mentioned that DJ Cain also had 130 yards rushing.

Someone on JJ is saying it is 419 yds. Heres the records for OHSAA. If it was 419 then that woud tie him for 15th.
