oh my mind must be getting the best of me..
I thought CAPE had problems with eligibility in that particular era? does anyone know or have an idea about what im talkina bout?

Im pretty sure that did happen but that didnt effect Minford in anyway cause they played them in the semi-finals

I'll have to check on the rule, but that could have made the other 3 Regional Champs, in affect State Champs or at least the two CAPE beat in the State tourney, and one would have been Minford.

1985-Cincinnati Academy of P.E. d. Louisville St. Thomas Aquinas 27-0, According to the OHSAA CAPE has credit for the D-IV, 1985 State Championship.

The weight room is full everyday, alot of kids are lifting overtime too. The Lift-A-Thon is next Friday, 5:00 PM at the fieldhouse.

It was changed to Friday as Thursday is potentially a District baseball tournament game for Minford.

Sounds like the team is actually stronger top to bottom than last year. I would venture to say that there is no other team in the S.O.C. II that will be stronger than the Falcons this year.

Let's just hope they can come out and play some football.. if all you needed was to be strong, then it would be called powerlifting and not football.

That's the truth. Just look at Coal Grove. They typically have been big and strong, but they have also been slow and out of shape. It's great to be strong, but you have to know how to use it.
