Looks like you may be sharing the field with a former Minford Falcon that already plays for Capital.

kinda quiet in here, its about time for things to get revved up..

how are the 7on7's going?

2nd year under Daniels & Co. should be a great one...

I do wanna say as i read thru JJ's OHIO HIGH Mag i saw Minford and Burg as teams to watch this year in D5 Reg 19, along with those teams up north
Hahah should be exciting for everyone in the SOCII good luck to all but mainly my minford falcons.. build off last season but make a story for your own boys

Despite missing McKnight, Minford's ones looked very sharp in a passing scrimmage last night with East. While I don't put much stock in a 7 on 7 as a predictor for the season, Minford looked very quick and in real good shape. IT was good to see Malone looking full go after his ACL surgery.

I didnt think McKnight was there. Either way Minford looked very nice, some dropped passes and even a few dropped TD passes. Oesch was on the money all night. If they have that potent of an air attack with their ground game. Minford will be tough. Very Very Very tough

I tend to agree and all of the sudden the Falcons have big safeties and corners. I think the one boy who dropped a couple in the end zone was nervous and can learn to catch. Didn't you think Minford looked very fast? Oesch looked greatly improved from last year and he was pretty good last year.

There was also a pass to the tight end on a waggle that was just slightly over thrown by a couple of feet or it would have been a TD as he had 3 steps on the d back.

I wasnt surprised Minford looked fast... just as long they are that fast with pads on and in the 4th quarter. Its still fairly early and the butter fingers should be gone with a long session of the noose drill. The defense looked fairly solid pass coverage wise. I was surprised by the freshman qb that came in. Sanford? he had some zip on his ball and is fairly tall. With work and and if he keeps on growing, look for the Falcons to have a 6-3 6-4 QB in the future.

I hear the Falcons have looked sharp in passing camps up to this point. If they can have a punishing run game as well as a high powered passing attack this should be a great year for Minford!

The key to Minford will be the development of the O line where both TEs, a tackle, and two guards graduated. M

This is always the key to any team, without an o-line even the best skill players won't do any good. That's the way it always is with the o-line though, over-looked when things are good, blamed when they go bad, linemen gut used to that though and wouldn't have it any other way :-D I thik Minfords line will be fine this year though, should be plenty of depth, competition for positions can drive the whole team to become better.

Good news is Minford will be bigger on the o line than last year. Let's just hope the new guys play as well as last years guys.
