Look for a low scoring brawl, eventually Southern will come out on top and score a couple late TDs 21-6 is my prediction. Should be a lot like the Eastern/Miller game in week 2

I heard his jaw was broken as well. Huge loss if he's out. Much like the Eastern/Miller game, turnovers could decide the winner.

#5 Carson Starlin is out for this game, but he's not the only player on the offense. Is the fact he's not playing going to hurt? Yes it is. I still feel good about this game going to the Dirty Birds, so,we'll see. Should be a good game one of two this week in the TVC Hocking that should go a long way towards playoff seeding in D7 Region 27

I hate to hear any kid is out! I root for Meigs County teams but pull for every southern ohio team. I hope for a speedy recovery.

Southern hasn't played nearly good enough to be thinking playoffs... Maybe if they beat Miller AND Belpre they can start THINKING about the playoffs but those are BIG if's! Miller and Belpre both beat them like a drum last year and Waterford and Trimble will obviously be favorites over them.

Do I hope Southern makes the playoffs? Yes
Do I think Southern should beat Miller and Belpre? Yes
Do I think Southern could beat Waterford and or Trimble? Yes
Do I think all 4 could beat Southern? Yes
Eastern and South Gallia aren't going to be easy wins either...

There is a long way to go and a lot to do before any playoff talk should start in Racine.

Was told 3-4 weeks minimum. Could be the rest of the season.....

I watched Southern against Frontier, they are not very good.

I agree Lindy, Frontier didn't look very good at all, Southern put their JV in the 3rd quarter at about the 6 minute mark. If it wasn't for that the score would have been 70-6.
