Marietta early leader in All-Sports Trophy race
Gallia should be stronger in the field evens this year.
Allie Troester and Ryann Leslie in the high jump
Alexis Geiger and Dobson in the long jump
Allie Troester in the discus
Gallia won the girls league last year by 35 points and I think they only graduated a couple girls.
Gallia usually doesn't put its team together--in the right places until the league.

I'm in the SEOAL and I know after looking through last years results , they return 2 Champions (Lee, Sebring) and return 1 runner-up (Dunfee).
OBTW they only won by 29.5.

Another thread where the poor "sports" show themselves. Before joining the league, schools knew about the All-sports trophy and the SPORTS that competed for titles.
Quit whining down on the river -- field all the teams and compete for the trophy. And if not --------------------- SHUT UP !!!!!!

We should be pretty decent in baseball this spring. There is no reason why we won't be contending for the SEOAL Championship if we play like last season. Our Boys Track and Field Team should be improved too. As well as our Boys Tennis Team too.
Now on the girls side, there Track and Field Team should be really good this season, maybe good enough to compete for the SEOAL Crown.
As for the Girls Softball Team....lets pray it's improved since last season.

The boys tennis team will be much improved!!!! I am friends with the coach and he seems pretty excited about this years team.
Just curious, do the schools that can't field teams such as tennis, cross, soccer, etc...what are the reasons? Can't find enough interested players or is it an AD decision, or something else? I think it would benefit some of the smaller schools to have a policy that allows for kids to compete in more than one sport. I know I always feel sorry for Gallia girls having to play on the boy's soccer and tennis teams......some of those girls are really good and who knows what they could do if they had their own team.
