well depending on your definition of important
Jackson is getting a BW3's in the Bennigan's Restaraunt building.
Another good eating choice on the way to the Convo for many of you.

Or, you could just eat at the BW3's, Benningan's, or countless other restaurants in Athens.
Some like to eat on the way to or from the Convo...Jackson is the location MANY of the school districts go through on their trip....plus the Athens eateries are on the other side of the Covo for many of us.....some traveling from 100 miles away don't want to go any further for food. lol
Does Athens still have the Damon's? They closed in Chilly...it was one of my favorites for sure.
Doesn't Nelsonville have Ohio's first Sonic restaraunt?

Good to hear about BW3's. I have been saying for a couple of years now that Jackson would be a good spot for one.
Bad thing is my wife and I finally started liking Bennigan's right before they closed it. The first few times we went it was horrible, but then they changed their menu and had some good specials. I will be much happier with a BW3's though.

I think Jackson has had a Sonic for close to 10 years.....Nelsonville has had one for much longer.
I can't believe the Damon's in Athens closed as well.
Sports Bars over good food for most.
I agree that I liked Bennigan's a good bit....very good food, huge portions.....but service was miserable at times.

Yes, Nelsonville had the first Sonic in the State of Ohio. It opened in 1994 I believe. There are several Sonic's in Ohio now. Athens has one on Stimpson Ave. as well.
The BW3's in Athens is just off of S. Court Court, and is close to the Convo, well within walking distance. In fact, the walk from BW3's to the Convo is all downhill.
