Hold on now. What I meant from that statement was, it seems like every time it snows, every one around us gets snow while we get nothing but the rain. It seems like the temperature is always warmer in this part of the state, compared to other parts when it comes to the prediction of snow. So I used "hell" as an example of the heat source. I, personally, would love to skip winter and go right into spring.

That is because the warm air surge up the western slopes of the Apps.

I would love to someday be an OC meteorologist in Huntington, WV. Prefer WSAZ because of their tradition.

It started out as ice here in Jackson around 9 oclock and then changed to snow. Right now it isn't doing anything but the sky is black.

The models didnt show precipitation developing this fast.

Where it is snowing right now. Expect 1 to 3 inches through mid-late afternoon. Then an inch or two of rain after that. Areas along the Ohio River change over to rain sooner.

The National Weather Service in Cleveland is talking about issuing a Blizzard Warning for the Northern Half of the state. You heard it here first.

It is one of those situations where I knew those conditions could develop. But I just could not get a good idea where. This storm was so hard to get a feel for.

but there will be Blizzard Conditions from Cleveland to Erie and Buffalo tomorrow.

snowed 1 1/2 inch in a half hour 45 min. then iced now nothing I parked my car and had Mr. Orange N brown pick me up I saw people backing back down the hill we have to go up and sliding chicken I am turned around and parked... :shock:

The morning part of my forecast was inaccurate in some areas and pretty good in others.

A little bit of a lull in the precip southeast of Logan and Zanesville for a few hours now.

I left Grove City about noon and it took about 1:15 minutes to drive back to Buckeye Lake. 70 was starting to get bad while Rt37 and 79 was already in terrible shape.

About 1inch of snow so far with it still coming down really hard.
