They just won their first game of the year after four double digit losses to: Waverly, Valley, Portsmouth, and Portsmouth West. They jumped out to an early 9 point lead on PHS and were down just four at the half to West, but soundly lost the first four. The team beat South Gallia at Rio Grande on Saturday.

NW must not have played well in this game. If my source is right, the Mohawks struggled all night on the offensive end. Sometimes, not playing at your best and still pulling out a win is a good thing.

Northwest struggled all night on the offensive and defensive ends!! Spriggs through up another three at the buzzer and it went in again! just like against waverly...

Congrats to Northwest on the win. Webster is starting to play better basketball. It might not show up in the wins column, but if they play like that on a consistent basis, they'll be in most games from here on out. Keep your heads up and keep playing hard Jeeps...better days are ahead.*
