Re: Region 23
I'm very interested how Jonstown Monroe, Heath, and Newark Catholic fair out playing each other.

Re: Region 23
Chesapeake will have a home game, they're too good of a team and I don't think they'll lose in the regular season

Re: Region 23
If Chesapeake goes undefeated they will absolutely host a playoff game. They happen to lose to two of the following between Portsmouth, Rock Hill, and Dawson-Bryant then they may be traveling. No one else on their schedule has been winning ball games yet.

Re: Region 23
Maybe, they might lose 1, don't know about Dawson Bryant, will find out if they are for real this week. I think the only way they lose is if they beat themselves
Re: Region 23
The 2 best teams in this region, ( NC/WJ) might not get into the top 8. NC will go 7-3 at best and 6-4 is a real possibility, WJ is looking at 6-4 with that tough schedule. We will no more about peake and coal grove after Friday.
Re: Region 23
Go to Drew Pasteur's site and look where he has (NC/WJ) He has NC as a lock and WJ likely getting in. Have you seen NC play? or are you basing it on the schedule. They may only lose one more game the rest of the year. They also get a transfer from Newark eligible next week, he was Newark's best player last year.Slappy wrote:The 2 best teams in this region, ( NC/WJ) might not get into the top 8. Re: Region 23
Yeah 7-3 is a better opinion for NC. When I said 8-2 I was thinking of Heath and Johnstown being the losses and totally forgot they already had a loss too. WJ I imagine with that tough schedule can probably still make it in at 6-4.Slappy wrote:The 2 best teams in this region, ( NC/WJ) might not get into the top 8. Re: Region 23
Paint Valley has 2 50-50 games left and one where they will be an underdog. If they can win the 50-50 games, they'll be in great shape for a home game.
Re: Region 23
NC's next 3 opponents are a combined 12-0, they have no chance vs. Johnstown and will be underdog vs. Heath and Lakewood will be close. Watkins at the end of the year will not be a gimme. WJ has 2 more losses coming for sure and a few games that will be very close.

Re: Region 23
It's pretty bad that Fort Frye is so much better than everyone they play that the playoffs is all they have to talk about in week 5...
Re: Region 23
I know. It's horrible for a team to be good. Hate it when that happens; Our non-conference schedule was pretty good and is going to get even better in the next few years. We could stop playing our conference altogether if that would make you happy. What conference should Fort Frye be joining so you can feel good about our schedule? I'm really interested to hear this one.MeyerSpread wrote:It's pretty bad that Fort Frye is so much better than everyone they play that the playoffs is all they have to talk about in week 5...
