Portsmouth has Post 23 from the James Dickey Post of the American Legion. Jack Branon from Wheelersburg is the head coach. He is assisted by Lance Davis and Tom Bergan. Post 23 has had a long tradition in Legion play but was without a team for a few years. Last year was the first year 23 played again and we are looking forward to the start of the season.

Portsmouth 23 as mentioned. 1 team only
Waverly Post 142 1 team only
Chillicothe Post 62 teams at the 13, 14, 16, 19 level
Chillicothe Post 757 teams at the 13 (new this year), 14, 16(Ed Yates coaching) and 19 levels.
Circleville 1 team
WCH post 25 teams at 13, 14, 16, 2 teams at the 19 levels
one team coached by Rob Smith (tourney team only)
There is rumor of a team forming out of Frankfort or Bainbridge with Kenny Wheeler and the Chillicothe Generals home field will be Unioto high school.
These are the Leagion teams in this district. Hope this helps
Bozo yes there is a lot of baseball to be played but now is the time to schedule games for the summer. Also kids that have the ability to play the game need to be looking at options now.
