Captian- I was there Thank you. What I seen was a coach trying to win a game. That just happens to be his job.

At this point, everyone should probably just let the whole Meigs/VC situation die. I guess every coach has their reasons for doing what they do.

On another subject.... One thing I've noticed is how nasty some of the Meigs fans are to their own coaches and players. I'm not lumping all the Meigs fans together like so many people on here do with the VC supporters, but the vocal Meigs fans seem to be unbelievably negative. Last year they would yell at Coach Abbot the entire game. This year they yell at Coach Ewing the whole game. If that's not enough some of them even sit in the stands and scream at the kids individually! With fans like that, who needs enemies? It's not like Meigs has some unbelievable tradition where these folks are used to winning and expect to win every year. Meigs will never keep a coach long term because of the way they treat him. Therefore, it will be hard for a program to be developed there.

I can't believe people won't let the VC/MIEGS game go.
Yes miegs pressed the fourth quater ,that doesn't bother me,
what pisses me off is our younger kids could not break the press. :lol:

There were 3 JV players that never got on the floor.
Oh yea, FED HOCK wins. But hope miegs improves every game as well as all TVC teams in the OHIO/Hocking divisions.
WE don't have a very good showing come tournament time.

I encourage and challenge all Meigs fans to support their team by cheering, attending, and supporting our student athletes (some of whom read your comments). This Meigs team can be competitive with Federal Hocking if they control the ball better and continue to play hard. Good luck Marauders!

hey fed hock lovers who is going to lose by 20? who is going to be playing jv's by the 3rd quarter. you do not know because you was not there. meigs led by about 10-12 the whole game. only about 2 people told you so and i am 1.

tvc, you better take meigs serious again. that is 4 out of 5.

If you look back thru this thread you will see no Fed Hock people predicting a 20 point victory...

As for the game, Meigs played well and deserved to win. Fed Hock did not.
