Zt made it through a big injury- worked his way onto the field some friday pillow is a big impact skill player
We hav3 a very nice player that had to sit first 5 games too.
Having 17 new starters is always scary, but guys are getting better every time out.

Piketon and maybe Paint Valley will be Zane Trace's only tough games remaining. A lot of easy wins in the SVC in football over the last few years.
An injury to the ZT QB would be significant, but they would not be done. They have some other talent.

Pasteur's update after Week 4

1. #92 Wheelersburg (4-0)
2. #169 W. Lafayette Ridgewood (4-0)
3. #213 Sugarcreek Garaway (4-0)
4. #232 Coshocton (4-0)
5. #271 Ironton (1-3)
6. #298 Belmont Union (4-0)
7. #314 Portsmouth (3-1)
8. #325 Martins Ferry (3-1)
9. #339 Liberty Union (3-1)
10. #340 Chillicothe Zane Trace

Ridgewood's win had an effect along with changes 2-10. W'Burg was not particularly impressive but took care of NCH on Saturday. Noticed that Canton CC dropped to #4 in D5 according to Pasteur.

How is Ironton at 5? They've been beaten badly and beat a bad Dragons squad.

Seen some film on Harrison Central. Portsmouth could exploit some matchup problems with them. They may not meet, just fun to see how teams stack up against each other.

I'd like to see Portsmouth schedule Central. Why not? Even matchup, same region. On the other hand, Ridgewood would likely beat the Trojans in similar fashion as Burg. They are for real.

Burg and Ridgewood are tops in Region 19 IMO. Everyone else seems to be a little bit behind at the moment. This is all very early talk. Major injuries could impact the landscape. The one team in this Region that could survive the injury bug is the Burg. They are so deep.

Can't forget the other Pirates in this region from Sugarcreek. Very talented.

Maybe Pasteur doesn't include out-of-state teams in his inputs.

My top 4 when its all said and done is..

1. The Burg
2. Union Local.. .
3. The winner of the Garaway Ridgewood game. Could very easily be two.
4. Up for grabs.

I think the burg, wood, and way are the best 3 teams in the region. Going to be interesting the way it plays out.

Would love to see my Trojans in the playoffs, but we have to stay focused on getting better with each week. It's been almost 10 years (2007) since Portsmouth made it to the postseason.

Week 6&7 will tell the future of this young Trojan team.

I think this is the order they will finish:

1.) Burg
2.) Ridgewood
3.) Garaway
4.) Coshocton
5.) Union Local
6.) Liberty Union
7.) Rock Hill
8.) Minford

I dont see Portsmouth beating CG and Chesapeake. They will get few points from beating SP, GA, Fairland and Ironton (that has a funny ring to it).

Minford has to win vs Williamsburg and West and a win over Waverly would do them a world of good. Right now I am figuring them at 7-3 with losses to RH, Burg and Waverly.

If West can beat Raceland and Waverly they will be in the drivers seat for one of the #7 or #8 spots. I dont see both Minford and West making it. With both potentially losing to Waverly, their matchup is critical assuming their only other losses are Waverly and Burg.

Dont forget Nelsonville-York in the 7-8 spot. They have a legit shot to go 8-2 or 7-3 this year if they stay healthy. They are not highly rated right now, but can move up.

The Trojans won't lose both games week 6&7 that puts them in at 8-2 if they lose 1 of them. If

You might be right Trojan, but I think they could possibly lose to both CG and Peake is who I think will win the OVC and may not take a loss in conference.

Best of luck!
