I heard that Athens and Logan are playing each other home and home next year in basketball as non-league games. Looks like Athens will be playing the 1967-1968 SEOAL basketball schedule, minus home games with Jackson and Gallia Academy -
Gallia Academy (away)
Jackson (away)
Logan (home, away)
Meigs (home, away)
Nelsonville-York (home, away)
Wellston (home, away)

... this was the lesser of two evils winning this one as Logan won the "IBA basketball battle" with Athens 80-34 ... a final ... as was reported 65 turnovers in this one, throw in 41 fouls being "called" ... a Logan team up by 25 pressing full court ... 48 FTs attempted 22 made between the 2 participants ... 33 treys chucked - 8 found their mark ... 2 1/2 dunks attempted - none made ... one technical foul ...
Congratulations as always to the Logan players on picking up win number 6 to push the record over .500 ... nice game by Matt Poindexter leading the way with 15 pts and 3 hoops from behind the arc ... it was good to see Zach Adams get some touches in the paint finally - getting it to double figures at 11 ... Portsmouth rolls into the Katie Friday night to do battle with the Purple ... it would be good to get a little breathing room on the good side of the .500 mark ...

Sounds like a "pretty" game.
