He won, but the top 5 horses behind him in the Derby didn't even run,they were in New York resting and waiting on him for the Belmont. That will be an interesting race ! Trench only 3 year olds run in these TC races, so he wouldn't have ran last year.Didn't realize he wore a nasal strip until today,never heard of a horse wearing one of them things.

Who won last year Bolt? Itsmyluckyday or Oxbow? Never knew you was in to Horse Racing much. We will have to go to the track one of these days and bet some big money. Ole California Chrome will be ready for those rested horses. He is the real deal the way they've been talking. I heard he had a throat virus of some kind or something. Throat irritation they said. Maybe the reason for the nasal strip. Animals get sick just like us humans all the time.

I only watch the triple crown races, probably because there not much on TV this time of year.My brother in-law and his family have been harness racing their whole lives and I learned from him what I know. I still don't know anything about the betting numbers though,and thats probably a good thing if I don't want to end up like like my ole buddy Art Schlicter lol.Oxbow won it last year. Old secretariat is the best horse to this day still holding all the track records.I think CC always been running with that nasal strip trench the way they talk.Might start a trend

That link says he wore it in the Derby, and that was before he got sick trench,the trainer clearly thinks it gives him an advantage if he is always wearing it.If I was them other trainers I would put one on my horse too if they let him.
