Portsmouth @ Logan Jan 11 ?????
what are peoples thoughts on this game?
Portsmouth starters
1. Cory Reeves 5'10 Sr. Great ballhandler
*2. Andrew Bendolph 6'0 Fr. Very Quick!! Can shoot from anywhere!
*3. Forrest Johnson 6'2 Soph Great Shooter, can also drive occationally.
4. Jacob Stevens 6'3 Jr. Can hit threes!!! but also plays in the paint when needed.
*5. Nate Cadogan 6'7 Jr. BIG REBOUNDER!! very smart in the post. also a big time shotblocker!!
Does anyone have any idea on what Logans starters will be?? what is Logans schedule and record?
I believe that the trojans can win this game due to the way they shoot the ball effective. They had a down game against wheelersburg shooting 37% they where also outrebounded by about 14 or 15, but I think after a hard week of Practice that Portsmouth will be ready for the trip to Logan.
My prediction for this game is that it will be close until the last few minutes Portsmouth will pull away with the win. 72-63.
GO TROJANS!!!!!!

Portsmouth can win this game......but an effort similar to Wheelersburg won't get it done. Very disappointed with that game; I am going to Logan and expect a better effort. Playing hard all the way to the end.
With the Trojans upcoming schedule, they have a good chance to post some wins. They have been flirting to get over .500 the last few weeks, but just can't get over the hump. Logan has been a similar team to Portsmouth with a lot of ups and downs.
It is important to start to put together a string of wins with the tournament draw coming up in about 5 more games. The better the Trojans' record going into the draw, obviously the better their seed will be.

The Trojans young guns have to play well on the road. Though the crowds in the SEOAL are not that great, it is a big difference going on the road on a Friday night, versus playing Thursday (middle school) evening games. However, I love Bendolphs game. If he and the other two guards can get out and get some easy shots, the Trojans win on the road.
