He chose to not be on the team which is fine. I am just stating to the other boys on the TEAM that they still have a job to finish.
Yea, that is too bad. Casey has been at River Valley, Gallipolis and now leaving Oak Hill. Just thinking about life outside of basketball, it makes it tough to enjoy your high school years which are supposed to be the best years of your life. Moving around so much also makes it tough to build comradery and chemistry with whatever team you’re on. Plus, if a player entertains playing in college I'm not sure all of these moves will look good to a coach who might recruit you. Especially after leaving programs with coaches like Coach Osborne and Coach Person. It's a tough situation but I wish him nothing but the best.

Personally, I've been on this forum and I'm not afraid to voice my opinion. Hell, I even know Casey Love. But I will tell you this much. Quitting Norm's team is one of the worst mistakes this young man will make. Norm is by far the best coach in this area in my opinion. He knows how to win, he's competitive, he cares about his kids, and he gets the most out of every single player that comes through his system.
The thing is, I hope Mr. Love does play at the next level. However, if he thinks playing for Norm Persin was "too much", then he's in for a rude awakening. I have a couple buddies playing Division 1 ball, and I assure you what the coaches put them through is much worse than what Norm does.
Best of luck to both teams in this game..

The Pirate Palace will be packed on Friday night for this big SOC game. The Barrack Brigade (student section) will be out in full force to make some noise as well. This will be a great atmosphere for high school hoops! If you plan on attending the game, the gates open at 5:30 p.m., I'd be in line waiting to get inside.
