Frank Guthrie ( Alex)
Scott Gatchel (Trimble)

I would add these two.. to any team Guthrie, was just as good as Bobo for a matter of fact they played together since they were8 years old with Guthrie and Whaley as their coaches who better?

This is a tough list to do but here are some FH names for thought...

Chuck Robinson
Danny Hall
Danny Bise
Terry Russell
Ronnie Russell
Joe Butcher
Randy Hornsby
Cody Hornsby

I'm sure there are others from FH and the other TVC schools but these are just off the top of my head.

Yes Mickey was a good one. I'm sure I've missed others. I didn't mean for this to be "all inclusive". LOL

Mike Chauncey - Meigs!
Scott Gilland - Vinton County!

I agree with Mike Bobo from Alex too! He is the first guy I ever saw slam dunk in a high school game!

I'll stop now! 8)

To name a few from Alexander:

Rick White (The story starts and ends right there. Probably the best player to ever come out of Alex)
Mike Bobo (All time leading scorer)
Justin Brooks
Eric Gabriel
Thomas Haskell
Steve Brown
Jake Hale
Mike Chapman
Tyler Thomas

Alexander had some good ones back in the 90's. Travis Waggoner could shoot the lights out. They had some other good guards but I can't remember their names.

Justin Brooks was a good one for Alex...

As for the 90's they had quite a few good ones--Danny Burke, Roy Johnson, Travis Waggoner, Eric Wagner, Emmett Sanders, Thomas Haskell, Lance Rolston, Josh Merckle, Chad Jarvis, Scott Chapman.. I could go on...

As for the best ever?
Rick White
Mike Bobo
Justin Brooks
Jake Hale
Thomas Haskell
(In that order)

I believe all 5 are 1000 pt scorers (I know for certain the top 3 are)...

Belpre

Post by Flounder »

Well from Belpre you need to go back to Skip Davis and from the 92 team which first set the 18 in a row win streak at that time along with winning the TVC outright for the 1st time in school history someone who alway's gets left out Chad Williams. He was also for all you Trivia buffs Belpre's First MVP of the TVC...

although Cozart might be the best out of Eastern, I would put Joe Brown and Matt Simpson in front of him, maybe even Karr and Lyons.
