I like the marching Cheiftans............but, I'm going to have to go with the NY Marching Buckeyes cause they got over that hump and made state for the first time since the 90's not sure wich year though. Have to ask my wife she was a freshman when they went.

IS THE NY BAND GROWING ANY THIS YEAR? I KNOW THERE A SMALLER BAND BUT, STILL DO 1 HELLAVA PERFORMANCE. I REMEMBER SOME YEARS AGO THEY MUST OF ONLY HAD ABOUT 20 OR 30 KIDS AND THEY HAD ON HILLBILLY COSTUMES. THAT WAS A GREAT SHOW!! IT WAS AT THE PARADE OF THE HILLS OR THE FALL FESTIVAL OF BANDS IN LOGAN.

Heard by the grapevine Sunday that Gallipolis Gallia Academy is looking for a new band director at this late date. Is that true? Blue Devils open 2008 campaign at Athens Friday. Current director has been working the GAHS musicians the past couple of weeks.
