Hillsboro and Miami Trace will do everything they can to avoid the 8 & 9 seed. One could very well prevail in that attempt with some help.

Does the 1 and 4 seed go to one District and the 2 and 3 to the other? Because if so, does it really matter if McClain or LE gets the 2 seed, because won't the 3 seed follow the same path as the 2 seed? Please educate me.

The Washington Court House-Zane Trace game tonight is a big one for each team. Court House is 11-5 and ZT is 8-7. Both are looking for a W before the draw Sunday.

I'd rank them in the following fashion.

1. Chillicothe
2. Logan Elm
3. Greenfield
4. Circleville
5. Washington C.H.
6. Waverly
7. Northwest
8. Miami Trace
9. Hillsboro
10. Unioto

Ok, now it makes sense to me why it matters if you are #2 or #3. As for McClain, I don't think loosing to Madison Plains last night (who could be #1 or #2 seed in their District) should hurt the Tigers too much as long as they take care of business tonight at Southeastern. I'd still put them #2 seed.

bman,
I really don't think Waverly will get that much respect. Travis will probably have to fight with everything he has to get the 7.

Could be true. Lot of politics at these meetings. Part of my rankings is what I think each team has earned and I also look at schedule and those type things. Some good teams at this thing. One thing I know is that I wouldn't care to play Waverly in the first round if I were Logan Elm, Greenfield, etc. They have potential to be a sleeper.

Northwest is 7-7 I believe. They play at Portsmouth West tonight.

I was suprised Greenfield got the #2 seed over LE after losing to DIII Madison Plains for the 2nd time this season. That helps Greenfield in one respect b/c as the #2 seed they won't have to play chillicothe until the regionals, if they make it that far. I don't see anybody beating chilli in the sec. or district.

Tigers #2 seed does not surprise me. Losing in a rebuilding year to D1 Reynoldsburg by less than 10 and to state ranked Madison Plains twice, is nothing to be ashamed of. The kicker was probably that LE lost to Adena, while McClain beat Adena.

That does make sense, I didn't realize that LE lost to Adena.
