INFORMATION ON LAKE WHITE.

in the interior of ohio all of the states lakes are man made.i think lake white was dug in 1937. the people wondered how long it would take to fill. and when the folks went to bed they were having torrential rains, folks woke up the next morning and water was gushing into the lake from the runoff of the hills and feeder creeks and drains and the lake filled over night.

Man oh man! The Mosquito Creek Lake is a big ole boy for an artificial inland Lake. 7,850 Acres.

Dang that's big.

that's an awesome read. wonder why on documentaries it says no natural lakes inside the interior of the state. wish some of these were closer.

there are numerous ones in logan county I had no idea about. is that the county logan, ohio is in. I'm assuming yes. but I'm not quite sure.

City of Logan is in Hocking County. We just got man made Lake Logan.

Northwest of Columbus Bait,Belfontaine is the county seat who also has the name Chieftains for their mascot.Looks like Rushcreek in Fairfield and Hitler Pond and Davenport Pond in Pickaway counties are the closest to here.

Nah he just went up there ice fishing in the winter with that guy he worked with.Looks like they would have good summer fishing there as well.Wonder how deep it is ? Thats a good question,what is the deepest lake in Ohio? I know it's not Lake Logan

My guess is a reservoir somewhere
