read my post agin i said i know skill and size changes and you ppl forget these guys are friends and enemys to so they know who 2 watch for and who not 2 care about so piketon is not worried about any body besides roback and thats it
My god son, pay attention in English class. I'm not sure who is cringing by your nonsense on here the most; Coach Gullion or your English teacher. To think that Waverly is going to be a pushover is ridiculous. Piketon has beaten Waverly once in the last 25 or 26 times they've played, correct? This athleticism that Piketon people continually talk about isn't as evident to those who don't reside in the village. Saw the Streaks twice last year, very well coached team. Should be very good again this year. But I was not impressed with their speed at all. If they want to get to that next level, and especially in this league, compete with Westfall, they better get a lot faster.

Seriously, did you just say that the only person from Waverly that your team cares about is Roback?

Piketon has some talent and excellent coaching but I'll take Waverly in this game.

Roback is a good athlete, but how is he one of the top ten QB's to watch on rivals.com he hasent played a varsity game as a QB.

where's the battle up front I don't see any of these skill players going any where with out them big ol' boys up front....I beleive Waverly takes this one. Places to be filled on both sides of the ball...ne one else agree with me on that Waverly with Roback under center, Waverly having fastest backfield in southern Ohio??????

bullrusher we return all starters besides two on the o line and with the addition of 6'2 of ryan hughes and we have a junior line man that is beast so our o-line will be good.... and our backfield is loaded .....how many lineman do u return !!!!! and how good do you think your line will be !!!

Sports101, Roback probably garnered attention at the quarterback spot at camps he has attended.

This game will be interesting, Roback, Malone, Robertson, Roland are all good athletes and Roback can hurt you with his arm and feet.

Piketon also has Tackett, Reed, Southworth, Brabson and Helton plus others who are good athletes as well.

Bullrusher, you are right the battle up front almost always determines the winner and this game will be the same. Piketon returns Moore, Lightle, Pate who all saw time last year, plus if the new kid sticks around gives them a good core to work with plus Southworth at TE. Waverly returns who on the line? I dont know, I thought that they graduated almost everyone so bull rush fill me in.

I see this game coming down to the wire.

Waverly has one returning starter up front on offense in Caleb (RockStar) Downing! Waverly had 2 linemen return last year and became a more than adequate unit. I am pretty sure there are kids in the program that will step in and get the job done. That is why we play JV games.

wow buddy are you serious up front waverly has no one besides maybe downing or magard but no one else is a factor i watched the seniors this for piketon and waverly scrimmage alot and every time piketons d-line blow right past them no problem and if any disagree's with me i have footage to show you and theJr's this yr played them its was the exact same thing so i dont think you got any new line man so upfront piketon has them out matched and about speed come on get real malone and reed and tackett are al about equal man. you need to watch more piketon waverly games before you get on here

Red streak I think you are mistaken with only one Lineman returning it will be hard to replace. I'm not sure where you get your information Maggard didn't play this past season. Lets talk about something serious, Chris Schuyler was just one step short of being a full time starter on O-line, he just need to mature his skills to compete at the varsity level.....also with an addition to Maggard coming back to play this season they will be a bigger stronger more physical team. They also have Brian Evans coming up to play which had playing time on the defensive side of the ball....

I'd have to say in you really have no choice but to agree Malone has way more experience at a higher level then Reed and the Tackett boy.

Remember they don't call him the JET for nothing!!!!!!!!!!!!

I dont know why we are putting any team down these kids read this and i dont know maybe this will inspire them to play harder...I think this post has turned this fun rival into a free for all on putting the other team down...some of the comments on here is very rude to the teams playing...and I think someone needs to do way more research befor he starts flapin his lips...Waverly is still a very skilled team...piketon is as well...i will be at this game as always watching my tigers. this will be a good game

Oiketon had a good season last year and a lot returning. Waverly was excellent last year and lost a lot but has a lot of skill returning. Their jv's were not very good. Waverly has excellent coaching and they will put a good team together. I predict a very close game. Both Malone and Rorbach(sp) are exceptional and will make game breaking plays.
