I will take Green with the upset special. Notre Dame's running game is very nice, especially with Johnson and Kayser. They're two of the better backs (besides Akia Brown) in the SOC1.

Re: WK6 Green (3-2) @ Notre Dame (3-2)
It has been since 2005. In 2005, Green beat 2-8 Notre Dame 26-0. The year after that, Green was primed to win the league and lost to Notre Dame 28-20 and then East (who won it) 28-22 in OT. In 2005, Green went 6-4. In 2006, they went 5-5. Prior to that, it was 2003 when Notre Dame was horrible. They had three straight seasons of 0-10.

I know you can't compare games. But it can be a pretty good indicator. Oak Hill blew Symmes out by 50. ND played right with and maybe could have beaten OH. Green barely survived Symmes. Now having said that, I don't think it's a total blow out. Green may keep it close for a while. But ND by 3 TD's

I'll take Notre Dame. What do you think of their playoff chances?
Re: WK6 Green (3-2) @ Notre Dame (3-2)
Win out and they are in for sure. 3 of the 5 opponents left have winning records.MeyerSpread wrote:I'll take Notre Dame. What do you think of their playoff chances?
Beat Green, you get 3 wins for second level points, I believe Green has a great chance to win 1-2 more.
Beat Fayetteville, who has 3 wins, and could possibly win 2-3 more.
Beat East, tall order, but if done, would gather a ton of points.
Beat (losing record) Symmes, maybe get 1 win over Northwest, a few second level points.
It'll take some help and playing well for the next 5 weeks but anything is possible.
Re: WK6 Green (3-2) @ Notre Dame (3-2)
Even though this game dont matter, I believe Green should get this one. Green is a decent team with a decent running back and Notre Dame is lacking numbers this year.
Re: WK6 Green (3-2) @ Notre Dame (3-2)
Those are the numbers for ND every year (20-25). ND has 2 exceptional backs. ND by a lot.bangbros wrote:Even though this game dont matter, I believe Green should get this one. Green is a decent team with a decent running back and Notre Dame is lacking numbers this year.

Re: WK6 Green (3-2) @ Notre Dame (3-2)
IF Notre Dame takes care of the ball and swarms to the ball on defense they will win. Green has some confidence going into this game but I believe Notre Dame and their athletes will pull away from this game. Will the Titans bounce back from the devastating loss at Oak Hill or will Green's confidence continue to build? ND is 30 secs away from being undefeated with Southern scoring in last seconds and Oak Hill scoring in the last seconds.

Re: WK6 Green (3-2) @ Notre Dame (3-2)
this one will get ugly quick.
ND- 48
Green - 0
ND- 48
Green - 0
And that's the bottom line, b/c Stone Cold said so....
