I've been going to South Point games for 10 years, and I don't think I've ever seen a standing room only crowd at SP.

The atmosphere was awesome!!

Just watched the tape when Mayo hung on the rim. He was on the rim as the ball was still in the cylinder. Should have been no basket.

should have been a technical on bumgardner the fairland fans behind me even said it.....one guy from fairland even said he should have been tossed that that was really unclassy not only tossin him to the floor but not helping him up.....imo technical shoulda been on bumgardner not mayo but oh well a win is a win we'll take it....onto the ovc title game @ chessy

Both teams played an awesome game. The crowd was absolutely amazing and it was a good way for the SP seniors to go on the night of their last home game..good job guys :-D

This was such an awesome game!!! I have never seen so much school spirit at South Point. It was only the JV game and the stands were packed. The entire South Point bleachers from the bottom to the top and the 2nd level were full and then we even had fans sitting on the last 2 sections on the Fairland side because there was no room. It was AMAZING :-)

Mayo did so outstanding and his character is really admirable. He gets our fans sooo excited and pumped up, its at treat to watch. He took a nasty fall off the rim and in my opinion I thought it was a bad call to get a technical called on him...I think the only reason he hung onto the rim was because he was going to fall on top of the Fairland guy. But that was just how I saw it. Its okay though!

17-0!!! Congrats POINTERS...GO BLUE!!! :-)

The ref's blew that one all the way around. Should have been basket interference and no T on Todd.

Yeah you are probably right buckingred....too bad there is no challenge for review in high school basketball hehe

It was an awesome game though, and good sportsmanship overall from both teams I thought.

I noticed too .. I think the other 2 refs were talking (probably about the technical) and weren't even paying attention. I was in the upper deck, pointing and shouting lol. Oh well, didn't make much difference.
