Since everyother SOC team has a topic, why not Minford. Should be another exciting year for Coach Martin and his boys.

The mighty minford falcons should have another great year under Coach Martin. the seniors have been getting varsity action since they were freshman and have successively been better each year. I see no reason why the falcons couldn't pull off an SOC crown. They are a playoff caliber team as well. The minford/wheelersburg games will be some classics to watch this year. :!:

Zane Trace vs Minford is a great game to open the season with. Possible prelude to a match up in tournament time.

Anyone have the complete schedule yet?
Should be a very exciting baseball season, i know a lot of the kids have been working hard this offseason.

Zane Trace and Minford have opened the season for about five years now. They will actually play twice this year as they will battle in early May at the VA.

Congrats to Jared Farmer signing his letter of intent to play at Mt. Vernon. Jared and my son have competed against each other since LL. I know Steve and Sharmin are very proud of him. Jared, best of luck this year....except for two regular season games and maybe a playoff game. ;-)

The Falcons will be heading down south this spring. I know the boys are very excited for this chance to play in Nashville.

Minford will again have an excellent club. But, the SOC crown should land on top of the hill on Pirate Drive once again.

What an honor for the Mighty Minford Falcons to be able to go all the way to Tennessee and play some baseball. That is really exciting and I can't wait for the season to start.

I can see the Falcons being SOC champs this year and it will be well deserved these seniors have ALOT of experience and it will all pay off.

Program, i like what you're saying.

I will say minford is fielding one of the better teams in the area, but not the best yet, not until they win the games. And that can be said about any team in the area. Burg is SOC Champs 'til someone knocks them off, who better than minford :?:

I believe the teams are Hillwood High School and Pearl High School. Dont quote me on that though.
