fed vs eastern meigs
Lights out - Just because a freshman is playing great JV ball, doesn't mean they can step into a varsity game and do the same. By seasoned -I mean a player that has varsity experience on the floor. Don't discredit boys that have that varsity experience. You may think these freshman are better than the starting seniors. I'm wagering that some would disagree with you? I wouldn't know because I don't know the boys you're talking about. We hear all the time about a "young" team and how they will be great in a year or two. That's what I'm talking about. It's the issue of experience. As I said, it will be interesting to see how they do if they step up.

It is a rare freshman that can step into the shoes of a seasoned varsity player and not miss a beat. It will be interesting to watch your freshman perform Friday night.
1. What is your definition of seasoned? Just cause you been there, doesn't mean it's clicking.
2. Nothing saying that those seniors weren't missing a few beats themselves.
3. The younger guys are more talented and work pretty hard. What they lack in varsity experience, they will make up to the team with fundamentals.
I still like the Lancers in this one. I'll stick with my 69-52 prediction, but look forward to the upcoming JV's potentially getting some varsity experience.
Nice bunch of freshman, but, they DO NOT have the experience of the 2 seniors. Freshman on the floor against Jr's and Sr's is a big difference. They may have the hussell but not the experience needed to take care of the ball. The Collins boy was back last night and had a good game for being out for several weeks sick. Hopefully Burroughs will be back and the Pierce boy who was out with a concussion. Looks like they finally found the answer to get through the last 2 quarters. Good luck to the Seniors on their last home game and to the Eagles. Go Green!
Like I said before you cant take the experience of two seniors and expect the freshman to be able to do as good as job as they do. Leave the seniors alone!!! they have done an excellant job this year and im glad to see the collins boy is back. He done a good job last night for just coming back after having mono. Hoping the burroughs boy will be back friday. as for the freshman they do have alot of talent as a team, but they do have to get some experience too. They're time will come. There is alot of hustle on the JV team and they do work very hard. Thats the only horn im going to blow. Ha ha! Go Eagles!! Senior night friday!

oh, they definitely will have EVERYONE there, and will have a good amount of momentum going into this game on Friday from the nice win over H20ford. Should be a close, good game!

If FH plays with the same level of intensity that they showed last night @ Miller, this game will be close. Miller was down for the count in the 2nd quarter and they let em' up. At one point late in the game, FH had 3 fouls in 3 seconds.
Howie is a great coach and by this time of year, freshman are now sophs, and sophomores are jr's etc... If Corey Vales gets into foul trouble early, the Lancers will struggle. If Vales is on top of his game, the Lancers will finish undefeated in their half of the TVC.

This group of boys have been playing together for years. And they know how to play to the level of competition every time. And more importantly they win. How a team performs against another is irelevant. Its comparing apples to oranges. FH beat Miller. That is all that matters. Someone asked if the lancers had motivation? Yeah, they want another win, badly. I look for Eastern to be aggressive and fired up after their win against Waterford. But I believe FH will walk away Friday night with a win. I believe it's important to Coach Vales and all his boys. This is not just another game for the lancers. It's their last regular season game. They will be fired up and looking to go out on top.

Fed Hock did what they had to do, regardless of their opponents and other league opponents. When they walked away from Hemlock/Miller Tuesday night, they we not dependent upon any other team of bailing them out for the league title.
Let's give credit where credit is due. Fed Hock wins out, whether with one loss, or no losses. 'Nuff said.
